Forever Now: Charlotte Casiraghi for Gucci

I've been always a great style admirer of Grace Kelly's granddaughter, Charlotte Casirgahi. Once described as "the young Brigitte Bardot" by Karl, Charlotte seems to be what many girls try: A timeless beauty with a taste you can't mistake but to love it.
Now, that Gucci has launched their campaign Forever Now in the occasion of their 90th anniversary last year (I've been writing about their funny collaboration with Fiat 500 here), Charlotte was announced to be the new testimonial and protagonist of the 4 different campaigns. And I already love it. It perfectly represents the young Monegasque's way of styling (at least that bit we, as the public, get to see on her) and her passion for horse riding. From today onwards we'll be able to spot Monaco's beauty and definite style icon in various magazines.
"She embodies beauty and grace and is a wonderful ambassador of equitation", Frida Giannini said and must have done so with confidence. Not least because she designed Charlotte's riding wardrobe in the past.
Being captured by Peter Lindbergh, there is not much left to add than to enjoy the first released outcomes and this video.

Pulcinella & Le 21ème Arrondissement

A few days ago, I received these two pictures taken by Adam Katz Sinding, freelancing photographer currently covering street styles for ELLE magazine (US).
It was an honour to get shot not once but twice and I love the outcome.

Spotted!

...As one might have noticed: The last few days were all about Fashion Week for me. And it seems as if it doesn't stop. I just discovered these images taken by photography professional Phil Goddard, who I met during these three exciting days. His kind way of asking me for pictures immediately motivated me and as you just rarely get to see nice photographers taking pictures of you, I was absolutely happy to receive a mail by Phil showing me all of the images. After I took a look at his homepage, I realised what an honour it was to get photographed by him. I love his multifaceted way of capturing completely different things from landscapes to people in different settings. He's truly amazing and whenever I need someone in this area, I will surely come back to him! People, you just rarely come cross a KIND photographer out there who's still doing his job in such a professional way. I can tell. For further interest, inquiries or anything else, check out his website:

Another really nice person was Rachel Phipps, freelance writer, editorial consultant and owner of http://www.rachelphipps.com/. She's also running a separate beauty blog, which you find at http://www.theglossyguide.com/ and which I fell in love the moment I entered the website. She shot this nice picture of my bright colour blocking outfit in the morning of my second day spent at LFW.
Thank you for posting this.

...And not to forget my "personal photographer", Philipp, who's been creating a whole compilation of different images he shot of me during our exciting time spent together the past days. Credit goes to nearly all the pictures of myself I publish over here. Without him, all of this would have been just half as funny as it was and without him, I can assure that all of the pictures you see would be a complete disaster! Thank you for everything!
Check out his tumblr blog for a mixture of lifestyle images & his own photography:

Yeah, I kind of feel the same like some of you with the thought "when does she stop posting about London Fashion Week over and over again..I CAN'T SEE THESE LEO PANTS ANY LONGER" in my head. But I just had to share these cool people with my readership. Don't tell me that they're not worthy to mention over here... they truly deserve it (to land on my highly important blog - for all the humourless people: *this is the moment you should laugh for 2 seconds & move on with reading*) ;).
This Saturday I will be attending the official London Fashion Weekend. It feels like it has been more than 3000 years that I attended this event, so I'm really looking forward to it!!
Stay tuned and have a nice Friday night.

London Fashion Week: The Streetstyles

It's time for the ultimate aftermath of London Fashion Week, so I thought about sharing my shots and personal favourites of these three crazy days.
All the different trends are easily noticeable and how could it be different?! Neon dominates everything at the moment. And i love it!
All dressed up in Givenchy. How could this not be loved!?
these two cuties couldn't be missed in this selection, couldn't they!?

London Fashion Week, Day 3

Whenever you think you've reached the maximum of happiness a day can give you, you will be surprised what the next one offers. At least this was yesterday's case, when I was once again dancing around at Somerset House and just couldn't believe how many cool people can get together "just" for some days. Together with Elina from Imperfect Perfectionista and Gentiana from Stimulate It, we had a really good time. I bumped into Yvan whom I haven't seen since Berlin Fashion Week 2 years ago and Gentiana got the chance to be photographed by The Facehunter himself. Besides from Yvan, we spotted Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine and someone who quite looked similar to Mrs. Westwood herself. I also got shot by Phil Goddard, a very nice photographer to whom I will dedicate a separate post the upcoming days, as well as I got photographed by Adam Katz Sinding for a second time.
As I already twittered yesterday evening, I realised that Diane Pernet was right behind the photographers who took pictures of me at that moment - and guess what! I just saw this when I started editing all the pictures on the camera last night. That's what I call a typical fail. How could I not see her!?! Still pissing me off a little. (+ as I was stalking on Twitter, Mrs. Pernet is staying at my absolute favourite hotel here in London, the St. Martins Lane... I should maybe consider to go insane and book a table for tonight at the Asia De Cuba, which is located at St. Martins Lane).
I just don't have any other words for this day than just saying that I totally enjoyed it. I'm blessed to live in such an amazing city and be surrounded by all these people, especially my personal photographer who never gives up on me no matter how grumpy and bitchy I am (sometimes huh ;)).

Yesterday, I thought about pulling some trousers after I was freezing off enough the day before in my splashy, catchy dress from Topshop. Therefore, I picked my trousers by Zara (and put on some tights beneath.. what a clever tactic) together with some rather low keyed items like my black fury friend and a simple black ensemble. I always had that vision of putting on my old Guess shoes to this trousers and so they once again had their big time at Fashion Week. The silky material of my leo trousers added that more elegant twist and meanwhile built a little contrast to the wild pattern. To reinforce that little ladylike twist, I took my hat by H&M, which I just wore once so far, and my beloved Vintage cat eyed shades.

Coat: Remy Hall
Top: H&M
Cardigan: Zara
Trousers: Zara
Hat: H&M
Bracelet: Farringdons
Shades: Vintage (bought in NYC last year)
Shoes: Guess
Bag: Louis Vuitton
isn't that completely crazy?! crazy in a cool way of course!

Picture of the day: Mini-Wang

Again, Alexander Wang's niece, Aila, at her best posing for the obligatory photo during her official third time at Fashion Week.
Never came across such a little, stylish cutiepie before.
(& certainly she's wearing one of her uncle's most famous bags...how could it be different?!)

20 years of DAZED & CONFUSED

I don't know if I made it clear in the past but I simply love this city. The fact that there is an exhibition for free is nearly as absurd as the imagination of Wikipedia not working for 24 hours.
Between all of the essays and exams I needed to get done by this and last week, I found some time to visit the Dazed & Confused exhibition  at Somerset House, where London Fashionweek will take place again. I've never been there before, which I regret the moment I entered this building. Located directly at the River Thames, I just got overwhelmed by the size and old style.
"Making it up as we go along" is the title of Jo-ann Furniss' published book consisting of all the amazing editorials and frontpages Dazed & Confused published over the past 20 years. And so the exhibition gives an insight with a great compilation of all those works.
The contrast of highly modern images of Agyness, Beth, Kate & Co. and the wonderfully old styled rooms held me for more than 20 minutes per room to feel the atmosphere. The faithful part of my readership knows how much I love Kate and so it was kind of going through her life while walking through each room. No wonder co-editor Jefferson Hack fell in love with her.
The two adjoining rooms of this exhibition are dedicated to Alexander McQueen being so special and out of space for me that I didn't take any pictures.
Personally, I've been always a huge fan of Dazed & Confused. Founded in 1991 by Rankin and Hack it is said to be "the barometer of underground style" and international counterculture ever since. For me it is the British magazine of the scene and represents that fresh, alternative and controversial look of what the youth represents.
Sadly, I'm leaving UK tomorrow again but for those of you living or currently being here, there's a  talk with Jefferson Hack and Jo-ann Furniss (editor of Making it up as we come along) at Somerset on the 27th of January at 6.30 pm. Online it says that all the tickets are sold out (5 pounds is simply nothing... we all understand) but there are still some tickets available at Somerset House directly. Damn it I can't attend this.
The exhibition is still running until the 29th and I can assure you - it's definitely worthy to visit.
