An orange doubt: The bitchiest shirt ever.

I could have also called this post: The shirt that made me look like an obese person that lost some major pounds over the past months and now suffers from skin flaps wobbling down. But then again I thought  that a) this heading is too long and b)...is it really that bad!?. Okay, maybe not that exaggerated but still: What did I think when I bought this shirt!? I can still remember it hanging there in all its amazing orange at COS and the moment I decided to go for it. Plain, minimalistic and just the flashy colour speaking for it, I already had several outfits in my head. So yesterday, London changed to summer mode (18 degrees!!) and I knew: I'm going to take this thing out and put it on! Together with my studded mouse friends and some other golden details, I felt perfectly confident to end this amazing week (and attend the lecture) with an orange statement. What happened instead?! I can't tell. But the moment, I put this shirt on, I was already in deep doubt whether this is supposed to cover up your butt but then again doesn't give you the chance to take it as a mini-dress.... or whether this is just one of the worst cuts I ever came across. Surely, I could have combined it to some plain leggings but then again I was just stuck in my imagination with these trousers and once I decided to wear something - I go for it! The following six hours were filled with looking in any kind of reflecting surfaces (buses, vitrines, doors and other similar things are a perfect mirror substitutes) and thinking about how this could look better. The answer to this? There is still no answer to it. The mixed feelings are there and my thoughts shuttle between "I will only wear this on the beach or to some leggings" and "Come one... it doesn't look that bad".

After all, I went for some shots and tada here is the outcome. At least I have something to laugh until this post disappears on page 2 of Pulcinella. ;)
